Terms and Conditions
By using this website you agree to and are bound by the terms and conditions listed on this page. These terms and conditions may be amended at any time by Haha Wine Company Ltd (HHWC) by posting amended or replacement terms on this website.  By continuing to use this site, you are deemed to have agreed to the terms.

 

Sale of Liquor Act
HHWC holds an ‘off license’ as defined in New Zealand’s Sale of Liquor Act and is legally authorised to promote, sell and deliver wine via online and mail order.  It is against the law to use this site to purchase liquor if you are under 18, or with the purpose of supplying alcohol to under 18s.  By purchasing wine from our website, you are declaring that you are over 18 years of age. Our licence number is 29/OFF/033/20.

 

Consumer data privacy policy
We understand that your privacy and the security of your personal information is important.  Personal information will not be shared with a third party, with the exception of competitions or promotions.  Where consumers enter a competition or promotion, it may be necessary to forward information to a third party but this will be made clear in the terms and conditions of the competition or promotion.

If you chose to opt in to our email newsletter mailing list, you authorise us to send you newsletters and email promotions from time to time.  If you do not wish to receive email correspondence from us, you can click ‘unsubscribe’ at the bottom of any HHWC email.  Those who do not elect to receive the newsletter will not be added to any database apart from what is necessary to complete your online order.

Any personal information that HHWC collects from its customers is retained in a private database and may be referenced from time to time to help optimise the functionality of the website, online shop and other related areas connected to customer experience.  You may at any time make a written request to see any personal information that HHWC holds or to ask to correct any mistakes in that information.  You may at any time request that HHWC remove your details from our database.

 

Confidentiality
Any communication or material transmitted to HHWC or this site by electronic mail or otherwise will be treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary. Anything you transmit, including ideas, suggestions, information or other material, becomes the property of HHWC and may be reproduced, published, modified, adapted and transmitted without restriction.

 

Cookies
HHWC uses cookies to tailor information and services for its visitors, to help with navigation and to ensure that HHWC is able to provide improved service.  A cookie is a small data file sent to your browser which contains information relating directly to your visit to this site.  Cookies track your movements through different sites; they do not record any other personal information about you.  Most browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can change your settings to prevent cookies being stored.  Please note, if you elect not to store cookies, HHWC will not be able to provide you with the benefits of such.

Service Access
While we endeavour to ensure that this Website is normally available 24 hours a day, we will not be liable if for any reason this Website is unavailable at any time or for any period.   Access to this Website may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance, new facilities or services or repair or for reasons beyond our control.  We shall not be liable for any telephone or other costs that you may incur.

 

Facebook Competitions

Any Hãhã Wine Company competition promoted on the Hãhã Wine Facebook page is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook. Any information you provide will only be used for the specific competition’s purposes and Hãhã Wine will not disclose your information to anyone else. Facebook competitions are open to NZ residents who like the Hãhã Wine Facebook page only. Winners are selected or drawn by Hãhã Wine at midday on the draw date and the decision is final. All winner’s must be of 18 years of age or older and be able to provide proof of age if requested. Winners will either be emailed, send a private message or a message will be posted on Facebook as a page post or under the winner’s comment. Winners full names may be used to announce the winners on Facebook, however, no other personal details will be used. It is the winner’s responsibility to respond to Hãhã Wine and if a winner does not respond within one week of the original contact an alternate winner may be drawn. Once the winner responds Hãhã Wine will arrange delivery of the prize to a NZ address only. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or other Hãhã product. Employees of Hãhã Wine and any agency associated with Hãhã Wine, and the immediate families of such employees, are ineligible to enter.
